María José Ahumada
Leading from the South Programme Communicator
María José Ahumada holds a B.A. in International Relations from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) and an Erasmus Mundus Master’s joint degree in Global Studies by the University of Vienna and the University of Leipzig.
She has participated as volunteer in diverse NGOs in Colombia, Spain and Greece with a focus on social development projects. Having more than 10 years of multicultural experience in the academic and professional field in Latin America and Europe, she has focused her work on the social inclusion of vulnerable populations such as: children, afro and indigenous communities, migrants, refugees and now working at FMS with a feminist perspective collaborating in the area of Institutional Communication in the Leading from the South Program.
