Learning, Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist
Laura Porrini is the Learning, Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist at FMS since 2017. She holds a Master’s degree in administration, planning and development from University of Bristol (Chevening fellow). She holds a university degree in political science from Universidad Católica de Córdoba. She has conducted specific national and international consulting work, such as for the Multilateral Investment Fund, administered by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB/Multilateral Investment Fund), the International Labour Organization (ILO), the Ministry of the Interior of Chile, the Economy, Evaluation and Labour Study Institute and the Regional Development Institute (Sevilla, España), and the Corporate Social Responsibility Argentine Institute (IARSE by its acronym in Spanish), among others.
She has 15 years of teaching experience at academia. Her teaching and research work focuses on the realm of evaluation of public policies, programmes and projects. She is a guest professor at both the Ibero-American Master’s degree in public policy evaluation, organized by Universidad de Sevilla, and the MA degree in policy management organised by Universidad Católica de Córdoba.
She has taken part in several publications, among which the following ones stand out: Evaluation Management Manual, Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID, by its acronym in Spanish) and Local Economic Development Toolbox, ILO.
