Juana Demarchi

Strengthening Environmental Women Defenders Programme Coordinator in Argentina

Juana Demarchi is a Programme Coordinator since 2019. She joined the FMS in 2016 to perform translation tasks in the organisation. In 2017, she started as a programme assistant for Strengthening Environmental Women Defenders and for Leading from the South Programmes.

She is currently entering the final stage of the university degree in English-Spanish public translation at the School of Languages, National University of Córdoba (UNC). At the start of her degree, she was a student helper in different chairs and took part in institutional projects on adult literacy and children’s school tutoring. She was an active member of the School’s student union and, for two consecutive periods, she was a member of School’s board of directors.
